This spring retreat is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with yourself through gentle, somatic yoga, mindful creativity, reflective journaling, and insightful workshops and conversations with other like-hearted women.

Holden Beach, N.C.

Holden Beach is calm and unhurried. No boardwalk. No crowds. Just long stretches of golden sand and steady waves.

The house is steps from the ocean and offers space to settle in, breathe deeply, and let the nervous system soften.

Located Approximately:
• 3.5 hours from Charlotte Douglas International Airport
• 3 hours from Raleigh-Durham International Airport

Carpooling often works well, and I’m happy to help coordinate connections.

Where We're Staying

The home is located a short walk from public beach access and within a ten-minute drive from restaurants and shopping.

Available rooms:

  • King with shared bath... $1250 (+$500 to add one guest)

  • King with shared bath... $1250 (+$500 to add one guest)

  • Two queens with shared bath...$825 each (2 guest max)

Room selection is on a first-come, first-served basis.

FAQs

One dinner is provided by a local caterer--a Low Country Seafood Boil with wine and dessert.

Brunches are typically served buffet-style with an omelet station, yogurt bar, fresh fruit, oatmeal, pastries, and bagels and cream cheese for options. And, of course, hot coffee with fixings.

A light lunch will also be provided Saturday.

I do my best to accomodate all dietary requests.

Great question! Often, we return home from vacation feeling tired and in need of a vacation from our vacation.

With a yoga retreat, the focus is on slowing down, reconnecting with yourself, and getting some distance from your daily life.  Without all of the noise, it’s easier to hear your life and your body speak.

AND unlike a typical vacation you don’t have to do any of the hard work of planning a really special, relaxing getaway. I do all that for you! No cooking, getting groceries, finding a place to stay, organizing everyone. Just pick your room, pay the fees, fill out the forms and show up with an open heart and mind.

Mindful creativity is a meditative practice that helps students learn to enjoy the process of creative expression. Learn more here.

Guests will need to: climb stairs to access the house and/or rooms; get up and down from the floor for yoga; and take a short walk to the beach.

Most activities can be adjusted to meet guests' needs. Guests are welcome to opt out of any part of the practices that feel too strenuous for their bodies.

There is free WIFI throughout the house. Cell service is also available.
